Got a passion for getting kids into beach volleyball? Work with Gaby on our Junior Program:
• Plan opportunities for young people to play beach volleyball (may include working with local schools)
• Assist in sourcing funding for junior beach volleyball activities.

Good with figures? Milena will hand over as Treasurer:
• Manage club finances and accounts.
• Provide annual report and budget.

Got what it takes to oversee the running of this dynamic, growing club? Work with Lenore to learn about how the club operates, and stand for election as Chairperson at the AGM in July.
• Understand the vision of the club, and its history.
• Oversee club activities and facilitate the smooth running of the club.
• Maintain links with the volleyball community eg through Volleyball England and London Volleyball Association.
• Chair club meetings.

Enjoy people? Become our new Volunteer Co-ordinator:
• Assist in recruitment of volunteers for Club activities.
• Monitor volunteer skills, qualifications and CRB checks (where relevant).

FREE EVENT ENTRY POSITIONS:

Joss Bay BeachFest Event Crew:
• Join the team of event organisers or just help out over the weekend 12-13 June, 2010.
• A great opportunity to get event experience prior to volunteering at the 2012 Olympics!

 
FINANCIALLY REWARDED POSITIONS:

Fixtures Co-ordinator - Mayesbrook (New for 2010!) Due to popular demand, LBVC plan to offer 4-a-side fixtures during the 2010 season at Mayesbrook Arena, on Monday or Wednesday evening.
• Manage entries, scheduling, results, league table, referees and equipment.
• Develop league rules.
• Receive a share of the income.

POSITIONS NOW FILLED:

Alessandro has volunteered to help out with Membership Administration:
• Manage club membership (including approving membership applications, issuing membership cards, maintaining club membership list, responding to membership enquiries).
• Manage membership numbers.

Tomek has volunteered to become Bookings Co-ordinator:
• Oversee the season calendar.
• Manage weekly event bookings.

Katja has taken on the job of managing sales of club clothing etc as Sales Co-ordinator:
• Arrange for sale of club items online, at events and at other club activities.
• Keep track of stock.

Fixtures Co-ordinator - Shoreditch Andrea and Frances will take on Monday nights at Shoreditch Park, hoping to offer both 2-a-side and 4-a-side competitions.
