Welcome to London Beach Volleyball Club

This evening we're organising our first ever Club night at Crystal Palace!

Show up alone or with a partner at 18:30 to play a few games. Take your LBVC card if you are a member, from next week onwards these sessions will be for members only. Non-members can get a one off try out session if there are not too many club members.

From this week onwards our full adult schedule is up and running.

Monday: Club night (open play) @ Crystal Palace
Tuesday: Advanced Women @ Shoreditch & Intermediate Men @ Westminster
Wednesday: Advanced Men/Women @ Crystal Palace, Intermediate Men @ Shoreditch, Intermediate Women @ Westminster
Thursday: Advanced Men @ Shoreditch
Friday: Intermediate Women @ Shoreditch
Saturday: Beginners @ Shoreditch, Social Play Westminster

Want to see some top level Beach Volleyball and haven't been able to get tickets for the Olympics?

From May 30 to June 3 there the EU championships are taking place in Scheveningen (the Netherlands). A few of us are going, info about the event can be found here http://www.cev.lu/BeachVolley-Area/Page_BeachVolley.aspx?param=CEV_Euro_Final_2012

We'll announce events there as well as on the website and members will be able to get in touch with each other. The website will continue to be the place to sign up for sessions and events but the Facebook page will offer a more informal platform for communication which represents exactly what we want to be as a club: accessible, fun and great at playing and enjoying beach volleyball.

Join LBVC 2012 for the most exciting season ever!

Did you already renew your membership? Thanks! Your membership card will be in the post shortly. In the meantime you can still use your 2011 LBVC member number.

If you haven't done so yet or you are joining the club for the first time, please visit our membership section JoinUs/Membership and follow the instructions. If you have any enquiry please contact the Membership Team.

You will need to:
1. Fill in the 2012 Registration form
2. Log in with your new details.
3. Select the membership type you require.
4. Complete your registration in Paypal payment page.

Please note, if you are eligible for Benefits or Junior Membership please contact the Membership Team enclosing proof of your eligibility.

Spring is on its way, the sand is slowly heating up - this can mean only one thing: a new beach volleyball season is about to start!

It also means that LBVC is about to kick off one of the most exciting years yet for beach volleyball in London. Keep an eye on this page for more information about all the fun and sporty things we will be doing this year.

On the 14th of April we will have a Season Opener tournament followed by a fun evening with food and drink. Keep your calendars free.

Coached training sessions will also start after Easter at a number of different locations throughout London. We will be able to confirm the final schedule when registration opens.

Existing members can expect an email letting you know how to reregister in about two weeks, after which you will then have a week to confirm your reregistration. If you don't reregister within the week, you will have to go through the whole registration process again.

New members, will be able to sign up during the last week of March. Sign up for the mailing list if you want to be notified as soon as the registration opens.

We are still looking for people to get involved, think you might want to coach, organise events or run the shop? Contact us!
